Jack-of-all-trades and problem solver-in-chief, Divya is APX Luxury’s Regional Managing Editor, Digital Growth. She’s been part of the team since 2021, and after years in media, she’s sure of one thing: numbers will never fail her. When she isn’t crunching data or building content strategies, you’ll find her buried in a book, deep in a true crime podcast or planning her next trip. Like Lorelai Gilmore, she needs her coffee “in an IV”.
What’s your go-to coffee order, and who at APX knows it by heart?
Iced cappuccino in plant-based milk.
Nishtha Grover, Senior Editor, Travel + Leisure India and South Asia, knows this by heart.
What are your three desk essentials?
I love a good Uni-ball gel pen, a pocket hand cream and my trusty water tumbler.
What’s something you’ve discovered about yourself or picked up from your colleagues since joining APX?
That learning is a journey and doesn’t stop, and that you can learn as much from your juniors as from your seniors.
What’s a skill you have that has nothing to do with your job but comes in handy at work?
Oh, planning parties, for sure. For Women’s Day, I organised a lovely lunch for our team in New Delhi at Adonis, and it was such a nice way to get everyone together.
If you had a day to show a colleague from another APX region around your city, where would you take them?
Since I’m based in Delhi, I’d love to take them through the city’s history and visit places like Humayun’s Tomb and Mehrauli. For food, it would be street food in Old Delhi and a sit-down meal at Carnatic Cafe or Kikli, plus drinks at my regular haunt, Barbet & Pals and karaoke at Loco’s Den, for sure.
What’s your team’s favourite way to celebrate after a big event or successful project?
Going out for drinks.
If you could work from another APX office in any region for a month, which would you choose?
Malaysia. I would love to understand the region and market better and meet our peers there.
What’s your most memorable experience at APX so far?
Launching the Travel + Leisure Asia website in 2023. It took hours of non-stop work, strategising, and planning, but in the end, we launched a product that we are all proud of.
