Hatsada Tirawutsakul, or Dack, as he’s known, is the Art Director of Prestige Thailand and joins Life at APX from our Thailand team. Nobody has quite cracked his black coffee order, yet the water tumbler, mug and blue light-blocking glasses are always on the desk. Kindness, humility and a ready smile keep the place cheerful, and big wins are simply marked with lunch out. Come evening he is happiest at home with Tottenham Hotspur and a mystery, thriller or crime novel.
What’s your go-to coffee order, and who at APX knows it by heart?
Black coffee (espresso, Americano, long black or lungo). I don’t think anyone at APX knows it by heart. 😅
What are your three desk essentials?
A water tumbler, a coffee mug and blue light-blocking glasses. 😅
What’s a skill you have that has nothing to do with your job but comes in handy at work?
Hmmm… being kind, humble and smiling, probably. 😅 Honestly, these three things really do make the work environment much more pleasant. 😊
What’s your team’s favourite way to celebrate after a big event or successful project?
Going out for lunch!
If you could work from another APX office in any region for a month, which would you choose?
Hong Kong or Singapore.
What’s something you’ve discovered about yourself or picked up from your colleagues since joining APX?
Everything around us is constantly changing, and we can learn from people both younger and older than us. It reminds me that learning never ends, right up until the very last day we work together.
What’s your most memorable experience at APX so far?
As I mentioned above, every morning brings change, whether big or small. We must learn to adapt, embrace change and keep learning as we move forward, every single day. So every time we learn something, it becomes a new experience.
If you had a day to show a colleague from another APX region around your city, where would you take them?
It depends on what the person is interested in and, of course, how much time they have.
Well, the truth is, I’m not really someone who knows many travel destinations. I’d much rather stay at home watching football, especially Tottenham Hotspur, enjoying movies or reading books, particularly mystery, thriller and crime novels.
Whenever I have free time, I love spending it with my family, especially my teenage daughter. I know this stage of her life won’t last forever, so I want to make the most of these precious moments with her while I still can, before this chapter of her life passes by all too quickly. 😊😊😊
